We’re helping the global food system turn over a new leaf—one city at a time.
Greens should be good for all of us. Farmers, food lovers, and the planet itself.
So instead of shipping fresh food halfway across the world (like most food is today), we bring farms closer to people. Our first modular farm sprung up in a Brooklyn parking lot, growing fresh produce for New Yorkers, all year round. Now, we’re growing in four states and counting—responsibly, intentionally, and always locally.
We’re guided by technology. We grow with love. And we want to make delicious, locally grown food a possibility for people everywhere.

2016
Our first farm proved we could grow the world’s freshest greens in the middle of one of its biggest cities.
2017
We launched our Next-Gen Farmer Training Program, empowering a new generation of leaders in sustainable agriculture.
2019
Our second farm, in partnership with Gordon Food Service, brought fresher, local greens to the Great Lakes Region.
2021
We doubled our Michigan farm’s growing capacity—introducing new herbs and nutritious salads to local produce aisles.
2022
More people in the Midwest wanted our fresh, local greens—so we opened new climate-controlled farms in Kenosha, WI and Springfield, OH.
